Since I went back to teaching last month, I haven't had as much time to read for pleasure. This is rather depressing, as I'm a bookaholic.

I decided the only solution was to read a little each morning and evening, as I can. This is tough, because I'm so used to devouring books!

My current read (almost finished!) is The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje. It is a beautifully-written novel. Sometimes difficult to follow, but the descriptions are impeccable.

After I finish the novel, I have plans to watch the Oscar-winning film.
