Skin Softening Milk Bath Recipe

Milk baths are very theraputic for your skin. They help soften and hydrate your skin. This is a very important thing for your skin. Milk baths also smell good, make you relax, and are easy to make. This recipe is an old favorite, something I make whenever I run out, which is often. It also makes a great gift.

You will need:

3 cups of powdered milk
2 cups of whole dry buttermilk (or 5 cups of powdered milk)
4 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 tablespoons of powdered honey (optional, but recommended)
4 tablespoons of ground oats (also optional, but recommended)
8 drops Essential/Fragrance Oil (I use Apple or Peach)

Simply add all of the dry ingredients into a plastic ziplock bag and shake well or stir in a medium sized bowl until well mixed.

Add in essential or fragrance oils and shake or stir again.

This can easily be halved if you do not want to make so much, the above makes about 20 baths. This is what makes it great as a gift.

When placed in a nice envelope with the top cut and tied tightly with a ribbon or in a nice ceramic jar with a tight sealing lid this is always a hit, as a gift, craft show item, or in your own bathroom.
