10 Day Fitness Challenge with Tips!

Here it is-your 10 Day Fitness Challenge, baby steps to get us in the groove and on the road to a healthier lifestyle!

In order to keep this well rounded and to give you choices, all you have to do is pick one task, each day, for 10 consecutive days. If you can, select a different challenge for each of the 10 days and DO IT.

This will always be in the archives and you can begin at any time - so no more excuses - lets get jiggy with it!

Complete one of the following tasks (1-10) each day for 10 days

1) 15 minute Walk, studies show that even short bouts of activity can increase your fitness level, especially if you're new at working out.

2) Park and Walk, whenever you have an errand, park your car as far away as you can handle and walk to the store. No more driving around the parking lot 2 miles an hour looking for a spot close to the entrance! At the mall, park at the farthest end and walk the length of the mall. Use every opportunity to walk. At the end of the day, it all adds up to better fitness.

3) Do 10 sit-ups/crunches.

4) Jump rope for 10 minutes.

5) Dance for 15 minutes-turn on some music and move.

6) Use the stairs instead of elevators and escalators.

7) Do 25 jumping jacks.

8) Do 10 push-ups-or as many as you can.

9) Try 10 squats.

10) Do some spring cleaning for ½ hour.

4 Excellent Tips

~GET A CHECKUP -- Having a physical is a wise decision, because it will help assure you’ll attain the most benefits with the least amount of risks. If you smoke, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or are overweight, it’s doubly important. Remember, this is about starting right.

~DRINK MORE WATER

~Prepare easy low fat meals made with FRESH ingredients

~REWARD yourself
-take a hot bath
-go to the salon
-read a good book…
