One thing that did not get the all thumbs up at the Golden Globes were the washed out lip colors.

What's on the horizon for fresh hot spring lip colors?

Emily Dougherty, beauty director, Elle magazine:
"The return of colorful, obvious makeup is a major trend, Dougherty says. She cites such celebrities as Gwen Stefani and Dita von Teese as glamour girls using richly hued lipsticks, brow pencils, foundation and powder."

I read that purple (more lavender, I think) eye shadow will be all the rage, because it compliments every eye color. Interesting...

A thought to ponder, regarding make-up trends:
Your glowing beautiful self, comes from within. When you look in the mirror, if you don't think *hey, I look good!*, then maybe you should try something else, create your own trends/style .
